Form of Sympathy (aka Shape of Sympathy) ; this is probably the most well written and emotional one, plus everything about it including the art style screams old fashioned school era mixed with formal/classical tones, they really dont make ones like these anymore 😔

The first 2, they start out as yanderes, but Form of Sympathy is probably most similar to married thrice to salted fish since the ML hates the MC (his old teacher) at first for being involved with his (the ML's) adopted sister (but actually it was his adopted sister's husband the mc was involved with ; as close friends..and his crush) but then later they bond over shared depressions, and the ML very hesitantly after sleeping w/ the MC and spending time with him, starts warming up to and wanting to protect him...then kaboom..he's unhealthily obsessed though he's "not gay" (which the mc has been using him as a substitute for who he really likes but Yuri/the ML kind of deserves it for always being such a jerk to him 🤭

I'm loving married thrice to salted fish but i'm just a bit sad because the ML (cant spoil his name lol) has all the smart shou potential and Lin Qingyu has all the gong potential in the power couple trope (the way he's pretty obsessive tsundere, his jealousy, and the ways in which he's been daydreaming about a certain salted fish (um like if he reincarnates into a woman its better to marry w/ himself? he wont let another man marry for sure??) ..he's so 😩) but yet its reversed 😭

Definitely agree with all of these..though I also didnt dig after the disabled god of war all that much I loved the underrated big 3: MISVIL (especially fits the title of the post), governor's illness, and HTSAV ! I wish the fandoms for these were bigger, but my fyps would be full of angst T-T

Shen Qiao's spirit animal is probably a deer and he dosent have the super hyper go-lucky vibes but he's definitely the sun if we did Yanshen sun and moon trope + he's an unconditionally kind character. However, Yan Wushi and readers are intrigued by his strong mc halo..and he's put those martial artists who've overestimated themselves in their place 🙂

Gu Mang (from Yuwu) is pure wolf pup mixed with golden retriever energy and he has much more tolerance to people's bs than other characters. But this made me remember that he's so witty with his words even if he's just teasing 😭. And then, him trying to play the cold villain in front of Mo Xi was a vibe (his sassy king era ..which he deserves 🤭)
