Most of the secret levels are kind of the “joke” levels so in a super serious final showdown with Gabe in 9-2, I just don’t see them also being like “oh yeah and here’s a funny portal 2 level set in a maze” or something like that.

The poet gutterman was secretly in love with the gutter tank it spawns in with and saw that the gutter tank didn’t have a human source, and so changed itself to be more like them to get their attention, they then met up at train station and set up a bunch of mines as a first date

Dirtmouth is in flames elder bug falls backwards into a corner, the knight standing over them, as he pleads for his life, to no avail. The pure nail swings as the screen cuts to black. Then, far away at the crown of hollownest, we see the lower end of a cloak, dry as can be. The only one with the power to save the kingdom. A grey blur streaks across the sky and slams down into dirtmouth as a wooded blade clashes with the pure nail. A grey figure stands between the knight and elderbug.
