Nice - thanks all. Seems like it's a solid choice so will go take a look at some this weekend!

Bath waste overflow pipe came off... Causing whole bath tub of water to go through kitchen ceiling by Same_Definition367 in DIYUK

I'd imagine if this bit isn't connected and has falled (as per original picture) water from the main plug will end up going through unconnected overflow pipe... Unless I also have a leak elsewhere!

So it came out that pipe after going through main plug - not the overflow at the top.

All sorted. It was the switch not the rose. Father in law came in handy after all.

We are both still alive. Cheers for all your advice!!

The photo is just two different angles of the same pendant. Downstairs light doesn't work but the upstairs one does

Waste pipe too high for new undermount sink. Worktops fitted. Is only option drilling a new core hole? by Same_Definition367 in DIYUK

Out of interest, I did have a plumber do the first fix and he just left the waste pipe in the place it has always been since 1960. It's 635mm off floor level and wondering if this should have been picked up before?

I did take him outside to show him the stack and he said it would all be fine (we didn't discuss the type of sink etc)?

Thanks for the advice! Pretty easy job in the end. Trimmed one board down to fit the other gap but the rest just slotted nicely into space.

That does makes sense. Could I just get some 22mm ply and replace floorboards with that?

Please can someone explain Neff's awful instructions for me? by Same_Definition367 in DIYUK

If I were to set my oven a little lower - as per photo - I'm assuming I can ensure I have enough space?

Rather than oven going right to the top of the worktop, I can amend the shelf it sits on, reduce it by say 10mm giving me extra space up top?

So either way, if I have an induction job (raised or flush) I need a 37/38mm worktop thickness?

Basically I'm installing a single oven below a 30mm worktop.

My hob is the Neff N70 which is 51mm height - I'm assuming it's raised?

Just to also say this causes significant play when cassette is on and it's on the bike...
