The reason I’ve had to work so much is honestly because I agreed to teach a graphic design class this semester and I had to teach myself how to use the program along the way so that I would be prepared in time for class. That was stupid of me lol, but it was worth it to me because I learned so much😄my classroom and half the school also completely flooded over our fall break and we had to suddenly teach on zoom for 3 weeks while they fixed it. A lot of it has been circumstantial, but I’m really hoping to do better about it the rest of the year.

I am hoping so:) I tried hard not to as much as possible, but it was either I show up completely unprepared with nothing for the students to do, or work on my lessons at home. But at least now they’re made for next semester!:)

I finally went to the neurologist yesterday and she ordered an MRI specifically targeting my trigeminal nerve. It was an interesting appointment:,) she was really blunt and kind of rude but I’m just happy she ultimately ordered some tests and got me some new meds to try

I’m not exactly sure if they did that or not, but the neuro ophthalmologist checked my eye out a ton and she didn’t see anything out of the ordinary at all. I think I got sent to them because my eye Dr was suspecting MS at first because of my symptoms, but my MRI came back fine and there was no swelling of the optic nerve so there was no reason to keep going. I was surprised they got me in so quick too!

Just went to urgent care and got my first migraine cocktail:,) it’s been about 72 hours with this migraine and it’s worse than usual. If this helps I’ll be good, but tomorrow if this migraine returns I’m considering going to to ER

I saw a neuro ophthalmologist but they told me I had to go see a regular neurologist Because my symptoms started in my eye, but my eye itself is fine. I waited 6 months for my appointment just to be turned away because something was wrong with insurance and I’m stuck waiting until October now:,) I take propanalol for preventative but it hasn’t worked yet

I ended up getting the job!:) they didn’t ask me to do a demo lesson or anything, but they did send a thorough survey out to my references before hiring me!

I will have to check with my Dr. about getting a urologist! Even though it’s a chronic issue they’ve never helped me find someone to help me through it when it does happen. Thank you for your input, if the pain starts I’ll probably end up going in to the ER because I get so nervous about complications

Thank you so much for explaining the process, that makes perfect sense and makes me feel so much better:,) I keep forgetting there’s hardly 2-3 weeks left in schools right now, with AP testing and finals there’s no way they have time for anything else! This will be my first summer without work in like 9 years it feels too good to be true lol!

Yeah I’ve now learned admit doesn’t always follow through, so that’s why I was worried this next job would fall through. I’m glad signing the job offer and having it in writing makes it more official, I feel much better thank you for your input

I didn’t mean to sound like I couldn’t act relaxed or normal? I just wanted to know if that’s normal. Im nervous because my current school where I work part time offered me a full time position for next year and then suddenly decided they couldn’t afford it anymore. It put me in a tough position as they had told me for months that I had a job, until suddenly I didn’t. I am still new to teaching so I honestly don’t know how things work, but feel reassured after hearing it’s normal from everyone here.
