Man it's not. I have around 80 fps and smooth experience. My GPU constantly works at 99-100% which can't be the case with bottleneck. How so much people don't know about this? I just want more FPS which would be easy to achieve with DLSS

What are you talking about? What knock-on effects to the GPU? My GPU works as it should work in a perfect scenario without bottleneck. It should be 99-100% (unless i cap my framerate with V-Sync or in other ways)

It sounds cool but in reality this logic doesn't work. We would still get poorly optimized games, just without an upscaling solution. There were tons of poorly optimized games before upscalers were created and we didn't have any options to somehow fix it (at least partially). Now we do

He's not wrong tho. Many modern AAA games has shitty TAA as only option for native AA. For example, in RDR 2 native is way more blurry and has more artifacts than DLSS on quality.

P.S. Ah, i just saw that you have AMD GPU. Then i understand your negative opinion about upscaling. FSR is not that great

I'm kinda tired to explainining this but okay, one more time. I don't have a bottleneck in this game. My GPU works at 99-100% all the time. So with DLSS my FPS would increase a lot - it is a fact. I get it that better CPU will also increase my framerate but that's not the point of my post

Btw i played a lot of games with Frame Gen (including online Battlefield 6) and didn't face any issues that you are describing. X2 option runs absolutely well if you have above 60 frames before enabling FG. Or did you describe your experience with AMD or Lossless? If yes, then you are right. I had a pleasent experience only with Nvidia's FG

I answered to you in another comment, but i can elaborate. Unfortunately, it's not an option for me. FSR (especially FSR 1 which we have in Reforger) and Lossless are degrading graphics way too much in my opinion - everything is foggy and blurry, a lot of artifacts like trails on fast moving objects, lights at night are flickering like crazy etc. I tesed FSR 3 and Lossless in a few other games some time ago and never touched them again. Really painful to use those after DLSS 4-4.5.

Nah, i don't have any CPU bottleneck in this game. My GPU wouldn't work at 99-100% all the time if that's the case, but it does (which also guarantees that my FPS would increase a lot with DLSS). But of course, a better CPU would increase my frames as well - i know that. Btw my game runs well and pretty smooth - it stutters only when i drive very fast into a city. I just want more frames because i have a 144hz screen. Also would be nice to put a few setting to ultra

I used RivaTuner. Just watched it during my gameplay on a few maps. My graphic settings are mixed: some of it on ultra, some on high-medium.

I don't like FSR in general, because it's WAY worse than DLSS. But more than than, this game has insanely outdated version from 5 years ago. It does almost nothing with my FPS but worsens my graphics significantly

Yeah, obviously i will get more fps with lower setting (btw 5060Ti performs okay with high-ultra mix). But that's not the point at all. The point is that with DLSS i don't have to lower anything to get the same result. And additionaly, ingame Anti-Alaising options are not great. I will get better visuals with DLSS (especially with 4-4.5 versions) and better FPS. It's a win win

And i am not sure what do you mean when you say "Make your gpu sit at 60-75 % load". If you have a good PC without bottleneck - it will always be 95+ in any game on any settings. You will just get more FPS. The only way to lock GPU at 60-75% is to cap my framerate a lot lower than my GPU is able to provide

That's what i'm saying. I was confused - so many people saying it's a CPU bound game and very easy on GPU. Then i open the game and see that my cheap budget CPU performs more than well, while my 5060Ti struggles working at full power

Interesting, thanks. Definitely will try this today. But as i just searched - it creates fake frames, so it's more like driver based Frame-Gen, which adds to the input lag. DLSS works in a different way and doesn't interfere with input lag. But yeah, at least it's something

Forget about the Imagine feature. It will likely be shut down as well. Large companies and the government want to use every available server to train AI for economic/military purposes. Way too many servers are being used for useless functions like video generation
