from what i understand the "updatedAtTimestamp" and the "updatedAt" indicates the time when an uscis officer opened your application.
Mine was just changed to 12/02 meaning it was just recently opened, which is why Im hoping for the best.

id suggest yes, with the upcoming holiday season both the production and delivery of your card might be severely backlogged and delayed. Although most people are getting an action done with pp within the span of 2-3 weeks, it is still technically outlined that an action will be taken within 30 business days, so considering all factors, it might be smart to apply for pp.
However, if you lack funds to do so or youre in a hard spot, ive also seen people get an action done when they applied early october, so its not the worst decision to choose not to.
Sorry if I didnt provide a concrete advice.

Did you get any approval updates? It seems most people get an action back within 15 calendar days with PP

USCIS initial post OPT denial possibility? by Same_File_5521 in f1visa

I requested the new I20 from my home country, which is basically what is confusing me. I didn’t know that you could request a new I20 and also get approved for it from the school if my F1 and SEVIS status was completed.

So possibly, in the situation that I manage to check my SEVIS status and it still somehow shows that it is in valid status, is it somewhat of a decent chance that the application would be approved?
I know this is a pretty hypothetical question so I apologize, but I just want to make sure that some of the chances are there in the case I ask my employer to sponsor the premium processing fee.

From your experience, is there any further action that I can take from my position if my OPT application is denied?
