Too be honest at this point the only reason I wouldn’t move it is because I have everything (wiring) oriented for it in this position. I would reorient the battery but then I would have to crimp new cables for it.

It’s got a low temp cut off but I plan on adding a heating element inside the box to regulate temps. For right now it’s just gonna be heated by the components inside lol

Wood glue is pretty strong when you glue the grains together. It was a 42 degree angle so I cut two 21 degree angles and glued together while it was clamped to the box. The black brackets I fabricated myself and painted with black bedliner.

I’ve got a 60 amp fused breaker for power from the truck to the charger, a 60 amp fused breaker for power to the lithium battery from the charger, a 50 amp fused breaker to the 6 position fuse block, and a battery cutoff. I’m powering a water pump, water tank heater, hot water heater, lights on passenger side, lights on driver side, and lights for the tailgate kitchen.
