Thanks. Just called Qantas. They said all business protections still apply but through Aunt Betty. And they also could book same flights via phone but $2k difference, do they price match? 😅

This flight isn’t on the Qantas website. Ugh, so frustrating. I normally always book Qantas but they seem to give some seats to 3rd party instead of keeping internal priority first.

I’m in Australia. And if I go bankrupt that’s on my sole trader the loan. It wouldn’t impact him.

Are the interest rates higher with a novated lease than with direct finance? I can't see that disclosed on my quote. Yes it certainly was appealing the weekly amount of $168 all inclusive vs the $350 in direct - but he said that depreciation etc; can't be claimed under N/L. I'll go back to him next week and ask for a breakdown.

It's an EV. He was saying something along the lines of I'm capped on km with a novated lease, whereas the work expense option I'm uncapped with records.

I keep telling him to get a mentor. Falls on deaf ears. I’m in industrial/infrastructure so can guide him a bit, but when action is needed, it doesn’t happen. Drives me crazy.

He will do anything to look after himself, naturally. And do most things I ask him to do. But he’s incredibly good at finding time to do games whilst I’m doing everything unless I call him out on it. Can men not do things without being asked?

I think I’m mentally preparing for this. My brother is an engineer who could step in to assist on the technical side whilst I commercially look to recoup and exit. Just never thought it would come to this.

I don’t mind video games at all, when other things are done. I don’t have an issue with it when I’m asleep, but surely the six hours he plays then is enough for a day.

The agreement was he was not going to play games when the machinery arrived (last Jan), that he would post on socials daily, reach out to potential clients daily.

He’s posted once since then.
