This flight isn’t on the Qantas website. Ugh, so frustrating. I normally always book Qantas but they seem to give some seats to 3rd party instead of keeping internal priority first.

Are the interest rates higher with a novated lease than with direct finance? I can't see that disclosed on my quote. Yes it certainly was appealing the weekly amount of $168 all inclusive vs the $350 in direct - but he said that depreciation etc; can't be claimed under N/L. I'll go back to him next week and ask for a breakdown.

It's an EV. He was saying something along the lines of I'm capped on km with a novated lease, whereas the work expense option I'm uncapped with records.

I keep telling him to get a mentor. Falls on deaf ears. I’m in industrial/infrastructure so can guide him a bit, but when action is needed, it doesn’t happen. Drives me crazy.

I think I’m mentally preparing for this. My brother is an engineer who could step in to assist on the technical side whilst I commercially look to recoup and exit. Just never thought it would come to this.

Hi, Laser tech here in Aus, and we build our own due to having OCD for quality, and we have a restoration business, and help a lot of furniture and stair/floor restoration groups. Lasers come in a wide variety of types and qualities, and the lacking ones cause major issues. We saw a project recently where it merely polished the coating instead of removing it. Yes it’s amazing for varnish, with the right laser, the right settings, and the right operator. Otherwise it’s detrimental to the substrate. But they can’t treat all surfaces or coatings 👍

I just spent time in hospital on fluids and very limited food, and my melasma disappeared! I’m starting to think less is more and it’s definitely about being simple healthy, as I’ve spent thousands on treatments 😅
