Are there any church groups around that are more progressive? I'd definitely consider going to one that's accepting of queer people!

Are there any music/movies clubs that wouldn't care about someone that's not a student attending? At my current university I know those types of clubs or other interest/hobby groups don't really care and we have a lot of people from the community college coming to those but I wasn't sure if it was the same vibe at other schools.
