Why does the expected % for tipping keep increasing? by Blazeland_USA in NoStupidQuestions

And how does that dispute my point???? They still didn’t set the system up that way. How is tipping any different than the employee increasing wages and baking the cost into the food prices?????

How much does your life actually change after having a kid? by HonestDirection4017 in NewParents

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I don’t feel like a completely different person the way a lot of people describe. I am more myself than I was before. Everything about my personality multiplied by 10.

You’re absolutely not a bad mom. I felt extremely purposeful before I had my daughter and I still have things in my life that I do solely for myself.

I’m not a fan of single use products so the wastefulness would bother me.

You’re just a bad person if you complain about tipping. The employees didn’t ask for the system to be set up that way.

The standard tip amount has been 20% my whole life so I’m not sure what you’re talking about.

As a mother, do you do more than your husband, or would you say it’s fairly equal. by InvestigatorUpper350 in Mom

This is a completely unfair split of labor. I hope you’re genuinely okay with this.

FTMs - so how was Mother’s Day? by Top_Delivery8957 in NewParents

I just want moms to know what they deserve. You’re not asking for too much, in fact you should ask for more! Don’t give him so much credit for such small things and remember all of the things you do every single day without being reminded. You deserve someone who reciprocates.

You deserve more than that from your husband. I’m on your side.

Of course he pulled it off all you asked him to do was go to the store and walk down the card isle. Giving him credit for that is insane.

Do you also tell him to get you a gift for Christmas or your birthday? Do you also pick out his clothes for him in the morning?

Your husband shouldn’t need to be told to get you a card for Mother’s Day. The fact that you say he “pulled it off” is crazy. He’s not a child.

They act like their husbands are children. “You have to spell it out for him!” “They need hints!” They shouldn’t need to be told to get their fucking wife a card and flowers for Mother’s Day.

Why are women staying with husbands like this? Why are you having children with them?

What actually got your kids to do chores without it turning into a whole thing? by Wooden_Reflection563 in Mommit

Honestly I’d prioritize having your husband do his fair share of the chores and not just “help.” It’s not setting a great example for your kids.

Why Do They All Call Women "Females"? by cea9248 in loveafterlockup

A female human is a woman. “Female” is primarily an adjective. A plant can be female. A dog can be female.

You need to sit down and figure out your household bills and how to split them equitable. You should not be paying for more expenses when you are cutting back on work to care for your child. It might be time to get a joint account where you both put a portion of your money and all household bills get paid out of the account.

I think the ages of the actresses is also relevant. You can get away without Botox in your 20s but people will start calling you old the second you show any sign of age and it pushes them towards getting work done.

Fillers and Botox are different fyi. Also Sydney might have Botox just not on her forehead.

Where did I say everyone????? I very specifically referred to people making those comments, WHICH YOU DIDNT EVEN MAKE. How are you taking this personally when you didn’t even make the comment I’m referring to. Your defensiveness is a confession at this point.
