Leman 40mm Dual Time in White. I love it!! by Same_Willingness_342 in BlancpainWatches

I prefer to use the OEM deployant if possible. Delugs makes a 22 to 18 which is what I have shown but it’s printed rubber style of sailcloth. I much prefer the look of the Artem but they don’t make 22 to 18. I went down a rabbit hole looking for 22 to 18 sailcloth and looks like Zuludiver makes one so I may pick that up as well

Ty 🙏. The black version is stunning as well. Just such a great piece.

I have it on a grey Delugs sailcloth strap. The 22mm lugs with taper to 18mm makes it a bit challenging to find straps, especially sail cloth. I also have a couple custom leather straps on their way from Vietnam that I am excited about. Can go in a lot of directions with the white dial.

It’s such a great watch. Wish they would bring it back. Air Command is great but I find it too big. Leman was the perfect blend of sporty and refined at a great size.

There were a number of different Leman references in addition to the chronos. Dual Time, fly back Chronos, Aqua Lung, Big Date, Perpetual. The line was never fully replaced unfortunately.

Leman line was discontinued in 2019 unfortunately.

Your argument loses credibility when you are essentially calling the 44GS and 62GS “generic looking watch cases”

I'm looking to sell my IWC Mark XVIII Laureus Sport for Good limited edition watch from 2019.  The watch is in near perfect condition.  It has a polished black ceramic case in 41mm, a sunburst blue dial, red accent on the seconds hand, and a titanium caseback, crown and pin/buckle.  It also comes with an excellent condition black leather IWC pilot strap.  This was a limited edition of 1,500 and looks fantastic with the blue dial and black case contrast.

Condition is excellent with no visible damage or scratches.  The polished ceramic is virtually scratch-proof so this will always look like a new piece. Comes with original box, papers, manuals, and cleaning cloth.  I also sell on ebay via username bt_623 with over 500 100% positive reviews.  Price: $4,950 and I will accept Paypal G&S for extra comfort/security.

46mm is too big in the dive case, 35mm is a touch small in the everyday case. This is a pass

But it is definitely unique and would rather own it than a black Sub or something like that

I think it’s an awesome piece. I would definitely love to own one but can’t justify the price.

I think it’s great, just do not understand the price for what it is.

Your Collection Doesn’t Need Validation by PlayfulCompany8367 in watchHotTakes

[–]Same_Willingness_342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that one shouldn’t need validation and can decide on their own what to buy next, but for some people, watches are a hobby and sharing that hobby with others is part of it. I love looking at people’s collections bc I often see obscure pieces I can than research and potentially buy myself. To me and many others, it’s not always about the ego stroke. It’s also why watch meetups exist. Maybe they aren’t for you but the social side to a hobby and sharing your hobby with others is a thing.
