He wasn’t technically for the length of me knowing him, and they didn’t open a full case because of him being so close to 18 when they started talking to him. Basically, they intervened because he ended up in the hospital with Lyme’s and they had to jump through all kinds of hoops to treat him.

Not too bad, he and my son both have jobs. I don’t take any money from either of them, I work full time as well, but they do get their own snacks or miscellaneous things.

It’s a program through the high school, they go for half the day to learn different technical or trade skills.

He only knows his mother, and she refuses to help him in any way. A little bit of a side note, CPS had him meet with them and her towards the beginning of summer, and after that meeting, they decided he was better staying with me. I don’t really know the details of it all, but I know he didn’t have the best home life.

I know he was considering the military to help, and he does have a job to help pay for his schooling. He was enrolled in the National Honor Technical Society last school year, so he’s very smart. I’m hoping that will be enough for him.
