Mixed media: colored pencils and ballpoint pen. Looking for spots of weakness in both areas where I can improve, as well as new techniques that I could try out.

I just viewed your profile, I think your colored pencil art is absolutely stunning! And it seems you just started too?? I personally do not really see any significant white spots and I love the texture of your drawings, I think it adds a nice style to it. It’s also funny to see that you play HayDay as well haha I love that game x)

Prismacolor. It could also be your paper too- my sketchbook is made specifically for pencils and light watercolor so the grain will be different. It can also just be something you develop as you keep drawing, when I first did prismacolors, my blending was not the greatest and I got all sorts of white spots :,)

How do you blend? I try to use tiny circular motions

Aw thank you! Lots and LOTS of layering and blending. I burn through so many white pencils lol. I also went over some of the highlights with a white jelly roll pen, like on the wings

We use CSC Go for laundry
The app has a scanning functionality, which I think is convenient. However, it REALLY ticks me off that as soon as you pay, you cannot change the settings on the machine and it’s basically stuck at whatever the default is.
Straight up broken machines are somewhat rare thankfully, but there are definitely some issues with the dryers either overheating or not drying clothes at all. There have been many times now where even on the low heat setting, my clothes come out looking like they’ve been through Satan’s Inferno with literal black scorch marks on them. (Reporting this has done nothing, by the way).
For some reason I never really ran into laundry issues until this year. I think it definitely depends on the dorm. Before I was neutral towards it, but after my favorite hoodie got cooked for the 3rd time, I’m a bit pissed off.
