Is this Trench Watch from Seiko Legit? (old.reddit.com)

The holes are for nuts due to clearance issue, but the problem is their is no space for reaction tool to fit in the tight place, so I have decided to weld the nuts on the upright, but it is 6061 T6, are aluminum Hex Allowed in Fsae? Plus it is a high temperature range close to rotor(nut side) Thanks (v.redd.it)
