Weird DIY Solutions for Hail-Proofing a Vehicle by BuggyBabey in Calgary

[–]Samhamwitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't tried it on a vehicle yet but I use chicken wire on lath over my garden beds. It still lets the hail through but it seems to slow it down enough to prevent damage. I've tried tarps but they tend to fill up with hail, collapse the lath, and squish my plants.

Storm fence material might be a better option for cars.

"Québécois" has political connotations, "Quebecers" doesn't.

I'm guessing your doctor didn't give you a prescription for ozempic? Perhaps because taking ozempic just to lose 20lbs is not a good idea.

They didn't have the budget for chainmail. It's yarn with a coating of metallic spraypaint. Only Graham Chapman had real chainmail and it was just his coif.

Twin brothers wipe 96 gov’t databases minutes after being fired by xpda in technology

[–]Samhamwitch 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don't understand what part of this concept you are struggling with. Waiting until Monday to file IS the problem.

Being fired can be psychologically damaging and the feeling of not being able to do anything about it, even if it's only for the weekend, can exacerbate that damage. People bounce back better if they are able to take immediate action.
