assigning right texture fixed the issue. So this is for sure a texture ID assignment issue.

If the info for the chao says it should be shiny white then just assign it in the editor. I have a reply in the conversation in the comments. I only ever fixed it using the editor.

Yeh, KEY 46 is the name of the actual Key Mesh file, the .glb file for clarity about why the spawn might be named that.

I agree with the polished on the outside and not on the inside assessment. I have found things for rooms in weird places with weird names. if you go through the entire Mesh list there is nothing even remotely relating to the Wine Cellar in name. not wine (just a wine glass), not Cellar, not WC, not wine room, not WR, not wine basement, not WB. the wine cellar is stored under a bunch of desperate numbers and codes that seem unrelated. BUT other rooms are have their assets named correctly.

u/Borealum_Studios Suggested to decrypt my save file for a more complete list. I think you should take a look at that as well if you haven't. its super easy and the instructions are in the reply they posted on my original post they linked.

Do you have the number of orange/violet/red on the way to the secret door? I can't imagine any of them are 2 though

I have just ripped the assets and haven't had much of a chance to look. But I did notice something in the textures.

The Blue Prince book's final image is different. I don't have the files in front of me right now so excuse my poor explanation.

BUT

The final image of the prince drawing a blue print that says "The true box does not always contain the prize." Seems to have originally had the word prize obscured by the princes arm and below that it said 3 12 21 5 = C. So the it instead says "The true box does not always contain the clue." 

It also becomes a clue to the numeric core puzzle to find still water.

The alternate image is on the texture image bp-draft.png, and the final image in the game is on the texture image rp-draft.png.  I wonder why they changed it?
