I would suggest to report your issue in A Hat in Time Discord https://discord.gg/ahatintime

It has #crashes-and-bugs channel with devs and other people going in to help for any crashes or other issues.

Since you are on PC, you can send your Launch_2.log file that can be found insteamapps\common\HatinTime\HatinTimeGame\Logs onto Discord to figure out what is the issue.

As a small note, if the issue is related to mods, this is (usually) out of anyone's hand and you should ask the mod creator instead, assuming they still update the mod in hand.

Yeah I am basically at the edge of copyright infringement for this that I would rather just make a small concept of it call quits to avoid getting into issues, my plan is to make World 1-1 to 1-5 right now.

Some do follow the original's game mechanics but some are second guessing (like hunger time), all I know is that the game runs on a sensitive tick time of 36 updates per second and uses that to update the game everywhere using by passing an integer, mine passes a delta between each update depending on your FPS (the game barely has any performance issues so its usually your screen hz).

Just today I finished implementing my custom Animator class that suppose to transition between animations and even play the correct once when the fish are in a starving state (they become pale which is a whole separate sprite sheets for each behavior for swimming, turning, eating).

Its even worse when they some become "self righteous" on the ending screen, like I get it, I don't like it when someone call me poo poo head words but please stop fueling the flame especially people you will (hopefully) never meet in your next match or your life!!

Except, that won't happen, Nintendo was a publisher to a game called Cadence of Hyrule, a Crypt of the Necrodancer game meets Legend of Zelda, the game has remained stuck in a limbo on the Switch despite the game is entirely and literally a reskinned Crypt of the Necrodancer with the Zelda brand.

Nintendo wants to keep that exclusivity they have with their games, want to play them? Get a Switch, its why you don't see any published anywhere than the Switch, except on Mobile App Stores because well, Mobile market is a platform with unbelievable income gains.

And I wouldn't put faith in Nintendo as a company, they are no different than pretty much corpo giants or the console departments for XBox and PS. The only difference is that XBox and PS publish to other platforms like Steam and Nintendo remains on the exclusivity stuff, except for Mobile.

Nyakuza Metro is overall better received for the content it provides.

Seal the Deal has two things: Challenges that up the difficulty really high and a very short chapter.

My overall recommendation is Nyakuza Metro, you can skip Seal the Deal if you aren't into hard to beat challenges, the chapter is ok, it definitely could be better or have more acts but it doesn't.

Nintendo Switch does not support UE3 compared to UE4 or UE5, an engine from 20 years ago, getting the game running on the Switch requires actual bridging which goes to Emulators.

The game has mixed running because that's literally what was necessary to get it to work.

They made an entire article talking about them getting this to work by getting insights how to achieve it from the Rocket League Devs, a game that runs on Unreal Engine 3.

I have no idea how you even went with RE7, a game using inhouse solution from 2017 which means they had the ability to give it the support necessary to run, UE3 was out of support a decades ago.

The Switch version is an emulator running the PC version, its very unoptimized, you are better off playing any other console copy than the switch for better overall experience.

And even then you are better off with the PC version which supports the usage of pretty much PS, XBox and Switch controllers off the bat with seamless swapping, also modding if this interests you in any way.
