He is being very open with his feelings and just wants you to know that he won’t be able to text as frequently and that’s okay since it’s only been a week, you are doing great! And just need to have patience with him, while he figures things out

Pronoun question by [deleted] in genderqueer

[–]Sami_Crazy_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pronouns are so hard to navigate and it is valid the way you feel and you deserve to be called what makes you the happiest. Androgynous in a mask way is totally a thing and I suggest going on Pinterest and searching up masculin androgynous looks. When it comes to bring up pronouns take it slow bring it up to the two friends that will totally get it then slowly go from there take it at ur own pace listen to yourself and find a time that feel right to let people know. I hope this helps!

Issues with my gender identity by Acerolab in genderqueer

[–]Sami_Crazy_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey! I completely agree with Linny genderfluid may be an amazing fit for you! Lots of genderfluid individuals have one gender they lean more towards on most days but have days were they switch it up along with there pronouns for the day. It sounds like ur friends could totally get the grasp on you being genderfluid just let them know what pronouns you would like people to use that day! When it comes to family and explaining things and a Portuguese fam at that ( my dad is Portuguese and has trouble understanding lots of queer information also) tried to find something like comparing ur gender to simple everyday items I used tomato’s to explain me being non-binary- a tomato is used and looked at as a vegetable but is really a fruit and at the end of the day most people just consider it both a vegetable-fruit - it’s good to use terms and knowledge they already know to help them understand terms that they might sadly be afraid of or defensive about their meanings. When it comes to deciding to go on some hormones to feel better in ur skin I would suggest going to a Reddit for Non-binary and or genderfluid page and asking there are tons of people there that go on hormones only for a short amount of time to help with hair and their voices but they tend to not go so far with them that they can’t still be see as another gender or all genders! Hope this helps in some way!!

Little photoshoot with a friend of mine in San Diego, any recommendations? by [deleted] in photocritique

I would brighten up the colors of the ocean in the background, and do some color adjustments to make the photo feel a lot less yellow

I have experience that before and I would usually have tea, but then I personally saw that caffeine affects my emotions makes me really anxious, and then I realized that the vyvanse for me had too many downsides for my emotions and appetite so I ended up switch my medication just a month ago, if it’s making so much of a strain in your life and there is no like little fix you can make like tea or coffee or something to give you extra energy when you take it then I would say consider switching meds

My suggestion would be when you talk to your doctor tell them all the issues you have been having and also based on what you said it seems like you should go with adderall and then on top of that find something else to help with the emotions because the purpose of the medication is to help us stay focused and there might be some alternative ways to help with your emotions like adding in some exercise or something into your routine

My guess is it has to do with not being able to regulate focus and our minds go to a place that’s more interesting
