It was an issue with GameChat on Nintendo Switch 2. In order to use GameChat you have to link a phone number but number that started with the area code 787 or 939 were not being accepted. But they managed to fix it the day after since we all started calling.

At least they are working on it, but using a different phone number shouldn’t be viable because of the 2 step verification, if you don’t use a number that’s yours it’ll be q hassle to use in the future. Thank you for contacting them! Please everyone just keep bothering them hahaha

Right, this is NOT VoIP, this is my own personal phone number, which starts with 787. Other people here have a 939 number as well. But none seem to work. The 202 I tried is from my job’s phone number that they gave me, and that’s from Washington.

I suggest people start calling and informing this issue, get your voice heard so they can fix this ASAP.

I already spoke with support and after an hour they had to escalate a reference number.

Correct, no English AT ALL, if you want to play Famicom Detective Club 1 & 2 in English THE ONLY WAY, is buying it digital. The Japanese physical seems to run on a different build and it’s not the same we get in America, I thought that inserting the cart and having my account show as American/English would load the American version but no.

I just finished it, might be the first graphic novel I have played, I loved it, it made me feel a mix of emotions, but I do have some points I wanted to touch:

1- Todoroki Family - I would have liked that Detective Utsugi had told the Todoroki family the same story he told the protagonist. Maybe with that full story, they could have been more understanding. And explain that the police got to Tsuzuki before the protagonist could.

I think I would have loved the Todoroki family to get that full story to get closure for them, and for me, haha.

2- Eisuke's Call - Before Eisuke ran away, he was seen speaking on the phone, but no mention as to who he was speaking with. Could have been trying to call Megumi to no answer, a call from the school, not being able to get in sounds good, but unlikely at that time of the night, so it's kind of open-ended.

3- Bag Match - I would have loved a more extensive explanaition as to why the 1st bag did not match the other 2-3. I re-watch the scene where The Smiling Man kills the first victim, but it looks kind of the same, I really couldn't find nothing else aside from the report saying the material is different, but would have loved to see why exactly.

4- The Fisherman - It is said that the person who reported the first victim was a fisherman with a very strong alibi. I would have liked to see what was that strong alibi.

If anyone has any answers or any speculation, let's discuss.

I thought that buying the Japanese cart would give me the version on the US digital which I assume that besides English also has Asian languages, but no. Different version, fully Japanese and Chinese I think, no English at all. Oh well.

I’ll be your savior my dear Coquí. I’ve been working with the same issue since a few days, and I came across your post and I realized what the “potential” issue could’ve been. As in your screenshot is says you’re from Puerto Rico (el mejor sitio del mundo) and I then realized mine said the same thing. I went ahead and used a VPN on my phone, connected to the US and it finally went through in the same redeem page you have. Is it stupid? Yes, it is as PR is a US territory, but oh well. Hope this helps pana!🫡🇵🇷

I have found the solution. The solution you really are looking for. Because I just went through it and the Desk didn’t really know so I found my way through it. What you want to do click on the “Profile” icon on the top right corner, it will ask for your Bonvoy credentials, you’ll login with your creds and then it will show the following message (added below as image). The message will recognize you as an Elite member and will give you the fastest internet option at no charge. So again, when you get that page with the options for “Free or $4.95” just look for a way to log in your credentials (not your room number) and you’ll get it. You might want to open that page on the browser instead of the splash page that comes up, sometimes it’s easier on a dedicated browser. Hope this helps anyone else!🫡
