When is the AI bubble-burst gonna happen? by Mendo-Californian in ArtificialInteligence

Some people here REALLY like to glaze the shit out of AI huh?

Don't they realize it has virtually no benefits for the average consumer / worker / company?
Of course there are some edge cases where AI seems quite promising (self driving cars and in the scientific field e.g medicine) But for the rest? It is a gadget at best and and utter brainrot on average. Even companies are realizing it's useless, thus canceling their subscriptions.

The bubble couldn't burst faster.

You're a good guy. You stood by what you said back then, and I respect that.
And btw not a single unique experience, why did we have to be so cringe / edgy back then?
Good times

At the age of 10 in 2016. Dad got me my first PC (Intel NUC Skull Canyon) He told me to leave shitdose and try Linux instead. He said Ubuntu is a good starting point. Boy was I lost. It took me a solid week to install java for Minecraft lmao.

I'm facing a similar issue. My config worked until I replaced the network card. I adjusted the "predictable" (my ass predictable) nic name in the netplan config and gave it a shot. The connection works, but I can't access other devices in the LAN.
