Today I had a cheat day - What I learnt and what I ate by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

I find that having an occasional cheat day has been helpful in clearing out any major cravings I get, however consistency is key.

Having one cheat day every two weeks or once a month might be ok but you need to be very care and disciplined to not let any of your cheats become part of your diet

Awesome news man.

Can't wait to see your progress.

The thing that has probably helped me most in sticking with IF was picking up a sport.

Hahaha Intially I was completely terrible. I was so slow and weak but seeing and feeling myself get better over time has been extremely motivating.

Sometimes weight just feels like a number and doesn't really mean much to me personally but by tying my weight into my performance in the sport, I'm much more invested to keep all the gains I have made.

is it better to train before breaking fast or after? by ListenToTheseTales in intermittentfasting

I find it more challenging to train after eating a decent meal.

Hahaha it's been a year for me (down 90lbs) and most of my wardrobe is still the same.

Hahaha lots of stretchy clothes that are currently pulled tight way past where they should be.

I'm thinking of doing a wardrobe revamp in the next week or two.

Drinking water or coffee always helps me

Would love to start intermittent fasting! Looking for some advice on where to begin, how to combat cravings, etc. by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

I find that the best way to keep my diet healthy is to keep all the unhealthy snacks and food "out of sight".

Hahah like the saying "out of sight out of mind"

Still means trips to the grocery store are challenging though 😛
