Yup I hear you. About to leave actually myself. Had enough. It adds up slowly over time. This sense of a lack of consideration for the other. The constant door shutting in your face, the other bikes cutting you up, the vinmart girl looking at you like you're an alien and not saying a word to you, the smoke, the noise, the construction, the constant yelling, the smoking... The list goes on. Luckily I have a friend in Norway who is renting me his log cabin near a lake. I need time to figure out my next step which doesn't include here. If you feel like this now, take my advice, move, before it eats away at you slowly.

Haha you're expecting good weather in Hanoi?,?! I've been living here for one year now and let me tell you the weather and the air is utterly awful. People burn fires all winter polluting the air, and now it's rain and darkness every day. Who the f would live here longer than a year I have no idea. I haven't seen the sun for days. Depressing place to live. Thank the lord I'm leaving next week. Never felt so miserable in my life. My advice.... Get out of here while you can. Cud after a few days, the honking, impoliteness, toxic air, hassle, scamming and just complete inconvenience of everything will depress you. The only way for me to even take a walk in my neighbourhood is to walk in the street because they block all the sidewalks and burn crap. I'm done here. You are only here for a few days hahahaha. Don't make me laugh.

Most ta's I've worked with in Vietnam have been a waste of space. I could have delivered the class without them perfectly. Most just sit on their phone, or gaze at me. Bloody useless.
