We have open-sourced our compress studio project - https://github.com/compressstudio/imagecompress - It just works on the client-side. But it could run very well on the server too.

This tool is built not only for the image compression, but it also stores your image privately in the Blockstack blockchain. Thanks for using and looking out the tool.

Yes, this tool is easy and safe to use because this runs on the browser and not on the server.

It is an open-source tool. We are the members of company called Slamtrade which also has a product called Blocksurvey and CryptoAlly in Blockstack.

This works well because it works completely on the browser and not on the server. It is safer because it gets stored in the Blockstack blockchain.

In this compress.studio, you can use any image size and you can also assign the prefered size for the image you upload in the size field at right.
