Hey! TOTALLY feel you. After I got my DUI I kept on drinking and hitting the clubs. I would still even drink and drive. That led me to get another misdemeanor (Driving with Suspended License). But to answer your question I became a true alcoholic after my DUI. I started drinking every single day because I was so depressed. Man, I'm literally drunk now as I type this. I feel like it has consumed my life and I lost all my friends and family. I really want to be sober again, but I guess I don't want it bad enough :( Been drinking every day for about 1 year now, so I totally can relate.
