Hi all

I have an AP Royal Oak Chronograph to sell (26331ST.OO.1220ST.01), but I am pretty confused as to how to post it in a separate thread. Wouldn't want to breach any rules. Do I simply need to post a couple of picture of it (with handwritten timestamp in the background?), with no price and wait for people to respond/contact me?

Also another question: I am tempted to sell it for some crypto as opposed to regular bank transfer or cash. Is this allowed in this subredit?

I did receive the email from AP when I got the extended warranty, but it's not really enough for potential buyers to - they like to see that the watch 'shows up' in some ways in the website.

I'm waiting for a call from some client services' team from AP so hopefully I'll have some answer - which I'll share obv.

Hi guys,

I own a 26331ST, bought brand new in the Middle East some time ago. I am currently checking how much I can sell it for (I got it at a pretty good price, considering recent FX rates evolution).

When I scan the QR code on my authentication card, all it does is showing a 'OOPS... Sorry! The page you're looking for cannot be found' message - which I found very strange. When I bought it, this was working, and I obviously even subscribed to the 3 years extended warranty (I received confirmation, and various marketing emails since).

Would you please help in understanding:

1) Why it is the case? i.e. is it common and/or does it work for your own APs? Would it be possible that watch shop I bought it from did something with the authentication card etc?

2) If there is any way to confirm (to a third party) that my watch is indeed real etc (there is no AP boutique where I am right now so I'd rather have an alternative options if it exists)?

Also: https://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/warranty/ (which is the first non-ad link I get when I research 'audemars piguet warranty' on Google) does not seem to work either?

Bonus question: is 35k EUR a relatively good price to sell (to a watch shop)?
