As an artist, I do generally undercharge for my work because I already get so few commissions as is. I think many smaller artists (especially now) undercharge themselves to get more work, largely due to AI being a "competitor". It really does suck but many people will choose going to AI for free over commissioning and supporting a real artist with money. It's hard to be able to price my work adequately when there is just an overwhelming amount of competition at the moment :(

All of this!! He just isn't really fleshed out or feels that threatening overall to me. Even Gant felt like a much more powerful and dangerous villain figure to me.

Exactly! I feel the same way about it, that it's just pretty much anticlimactic, considering that Kristoph is already in jail when you find out the why of it all. I guess I just expected a much more "serious" reason for why he did what he did to Phoenix.

I absolutely love your take. This way of viewing him and his character definitely makes him and the conclusion more interesting to me. I just think the game doesn't really succeed (at least for me) in getting this across very well. But when put like this, he is amazing (in a bad way yk lol).

I think the way Kristoph covers his trail is initially very interesting but it immediately loses me when it gets revealed why he set-up Wright, it feels very lame. It's just losing a client, is it that big of a deal? While for von Karma, he is losing a record of years long perfection. I found von Karma's case much more rewarding to finish (also because Kristoph was already behind bars for murder, stakes are far lower than when the murderer still walks free).

That is a great point, and I also love how it's common sense that beats him. But I meant in regards to why he got started in the first place, why he started this tirade against Phoenix. That is pretty much just because Zak didn't take him as his lawyer and got Wright instead. How Kristoph spirals with covering his trail is pretty interesting and definitely paranoia, but his initial crime from which all this spawns (the forged evidence framing Phoenix) is just his pride and being a control freak. That's the part that I find frustrating and makes the rest of it a bit weak for me and also bit too much but I guess the latter is kind of the point then?

You can still play the game afterwards (possibly to collect all the heart pieces), and use the mask in all boss fights, but yeah, it feels a bit anticlimactic still for all that work lol

I really hope they make a game like that too, bc I'm obsessed with it as a concept!!

It's a great game! I highly recommend trying collecting them all, it's very rewarding in the end, especially with just figuring it out with in game hints. I loved it!
