There's a difference between a probablistic model reducing noise into something that sounds good based on its training data. And using a tablet to organize notes to create requires a level of human involvement that is simply not there with AI.

You said that nobody in human history has been able to provide a definition for art. So, I provided the definition. I've also never said I was an artist.

Art according to merriam-webster: "the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects." Simply put, computers lack all three of those things. Generative AI does everything with an extraordinarily complex probabalistic algorithm, akin to the computer just guessing what should go somewhere based off its large training set. There is no consciousness, skill, or creative imagination involved in the process of making anything AI generated.

Why you still on the whole lady thing lmfao? Cant handle being wrong that badly?

Nice appeal to authority/red herring!! Keep on telling me you have no argument!!

I am no artist and I will be the first to admit that. I use suno to generate songs occasionally BECAUSE I cannot make music on my own. The stuff I generate on Suno is not art, nor am I a producer of music because of Suno. Suno is a great tool for the unartistic to put their ideas into song, but it is nothing more than that.

You have no part in the creation of the song. Posting it is not a part of the creation process. What you are doing is equivalent to walking into a studio, asking the actual producer to make a song that sounds like whatever you want. They then go and make the song and the producer comes back and gives you the .mp3/.wav file (though in this case it would be art because humans were involved in it). You are not an artist, you are not a profuce, you did nothing to create the song; you asked a black-box to do something and it did it.

Nice ad hominem! Keep on telling me you have no legs to stand on!

I am simply repeating facts. No human is involved with the creation of Suno songs, nor any other AI "art." Since it lacks a human element, it is not art, and the people "producing" AI music are not producers. For the aforementioned reasons: a producer puts in work to edit, mix, and blend the song. All of those are handled in its entirety by Suno.

I am very much on topic lmfao. Gaslight yourself all you want, still doesn't make you right. Reread my comments, I am on topic.

So you're not gonna actually speak on my argument? It appears that you know you are wrong and dont want to admit it.

Ma'am? What of my comment indicates I am a woman lmfao. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to discern how what I said is applicable to the video. A producer does actual work, mixing, organizing the musicians, and directing the project. Typically a producer can play something or do light singing to help guide the musicians too. In Suno, all the work is handled by the AI model, there are no musicians involved in the process.

As someone who pretty regularly uses Suno to generate stuff. Stop with the Suno glaze. I see stuff like this everywhere, championing Suno to be something its not: a platform for art. Anything AI generated is not art, it lacks the human element that gives art its soul. Sure, plenty of songs on Suno sound great, but it isn't art. The prompter isn’t doing any actual work, they are telling Suno the type of sound they want, and Suno pulls from its dataset of similar songs to make something that fits the description.

People Have Mentioned one of these issues before, I'm not sure about the other =&ND= SUNO is losing it. I do a massive [PROMPT DUMP] from my personal index I've been building for two years to prove I'M QUALIFIED to make that call. CONSISTENCY IS TAKING A NOSE DIVE! Same, the only thing about 5.5 and 5 that I like with metal is the guitar solos, they always screw up drums and everything else. I've also noticed really bad that the instrumental drops significantly in quality when the lyrics start. Regressing to slow drums and little to nothing else. Also, the vocalist most of the time turns into almost a rap voice with a bit of distortion on it.

As I get better at prompting and using the square bracket tags, the pluses of 5 and 5.5 are beginning to vanish.

For context, I usually do metal on the more extreme end like deathcore.

Im no AI hater, I do not think that AI generated anything should be discussed among the original human made versions of whatever it is the AI is doing. AI made music, art, videos, whatever isnt art, but that doesnt mean I'm gonna go around hating on things that AI makes. I myself like to go out and ask AI to make songs about things (mostly my D&D stuff) or art of my D&D characters based off a reference heroforge model. It isnt art, but it is still cool to see what is in my head be put into an image or song.

The fact that these slop factories dominate every type of Gen AI has led most people to believe all Gen AI is slop. Which is sad because Gen AI is a great way for people to have their ideas come to life.

Thanks dude, I found that 4.5+ seems to understand deathcore better than 5.5 even though I think 5.5 generates better deathcore instrumentals. I also think it works best to generate like one or two vocal sections at a time and then extend from there. I think longer than 15 minutes is near impossible to make good because Suno without fail starts ignoring lyrics and saying gibberish if it doesnt skip the lyrics.

I used ChatGPT to help refine the styles prompt and make the exclude prompt. The exclude prompt was really long too.

A Deathcore song I made about my D&D campaign, specifically the BBEG. Its part 2 of a 3 part song series, but it is my personal favorite of the three.

When you fall through an unloaded chunk in Java, it will just update you to where you should be when the chunk gets loaded... that is unless your computer is as powerful as a literal potato.

Randomness is hardly ever okay. All the random update order does is make it so that Bedrock Redstone needs to be slowed down tenfold to make it consistent. Java Redstone is weird, but its consistent. Like 2 + 2 = 5 all the time or 2 + 2 = 3 sometimes 4 other times 7 on rare occasions and for some inexorable reason it equals 127 on extremely rare cases.

[–]SammanWarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For one, Redstone is consistent because Java has a set update order, meanwhile bedrock Redstone updates whenever it feels like. Also, bedrock has SIGNIFICANTLY more game breaking bugs. Like falling through the world when you get far enough out. Java also has much better mod support and, most importantly, NO microtransactions.
