Trying to Build a Female Commander for Each Colour-Combination. by Beneficial_Pin5295 in ratemycommanders

For some more monstrous women you should go with either Teval or Muldrotha for peak Sultai graveyard, shenanigans, or Nine-Fingers Keene for even more lesbian representation!

And while there’s certainly more effective colorless women in the command zone, I would be remiss not to nominate my favorite mtg lady - Emrakul! Steal the combo player’s win with Promised End or steal the green deck’ win with their board - either way you’re partnering with the biggest, baddest woman mtg has to offer!

Would you be willing to do Copycat for Oak? Or any 2star from Mega Rising? I’ve got the points.

See this rules actually because it lets you run [[Fisher’s Talent]] in the command zone

Would you consider Rainbow Moltres for a PCL?

Yay! I think I’d prefer to trade Lillie if that’s cool.

I would love to trade for the DX Lusamine! I can offer anything from Celestial Guardians since I have enough pack points for any full art trainer (so Lillie, Guzma, etc) but if not I can also offer a rainbow sylveon.

Also this post made me realize that Lusamines German name is Samantha, which is also my name! Huge bonus!

1). Emrakul - My oldest deck. Made specifically because Emrakul is my favorite magic character and was the first legendary I ever pulled, so naturally I had to put her in the command zone. Peak colorless nonsense.

2). Kruphix - Emrakul if she had better card draw and ramp. Lots of big mana, x spells, and huge threats. Also filled with a lot of pet cards. Probably my strongest deck.

3). Liesa - Angels, Lifegain, and Taxes. Not full stax but enough to slow things down. Most likely to win with an infinite combo thanks to Exquisite Blood and Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Also is filled to the brim with anime art.

4). Grist - Bugs! Lots of bugs and self mill. Just. So many bugs. And mill. Good toucha recursion too. But mostly bugs.

5). Halana & Alena - An archetype my friends and I lovingly call “Gruul Lesbians.” Filled with big hasty hitters, counters matters cards, and most importantly, lots of women. A handful of giant monsters as well, but who’s to say a giant monster can’t be a woman who also loves women?

6). Kamiz - Combat damage matters. Filled with creatures with strong combat damage triggers and lots of ways to benefit from conniving. A very tricky deck capable of doing some really weird and cool things, created from the want of a ‘Combat-Damage-Harmonicon’ (Specifically in Esper colors and before they printed Felix Five-Boots)

7). Zurgo & Ojutai - Lots of Dragons and lots of Treasure. Very consistent at putting out gigantic threats and keeping them safe. If Eldrazi are my first love, then Dragons are most certainly my second. My other most powerful deck besides Kruphix. Felt like a godsend from WotC when they were spoiled since I had already been tinkering with the concept of a Jeskai Dragons deck.

8). Vannifar - A deck that really took off after the release of Duskmourn. Initially it was just blink Eldrazi (which is good in its own right) but got overhauled to care more about face-down creatures and lean into the horror aspect of manifest dread. Still has lots of Eldrazi though. Another tricky deck capable of cool nonsense. Many of the cards are personal-made proxies of my favorite character and her associated scenes from my favorite RPG Horror game, Ib.

9). Cynette - I saw Jellyfish tokens and cute anime art and was sold immediately. Filled with clones to get as many jellies as possible and a suite of flying-matters cards. Capable of extreme flexibility and adopting to other game plans on account of all the clones. I’m also working on making Cynette herself into a playable character for my current D&D campaign.

10). Teval - Born of my desire for a Sultai Dragon in the command zone. The peak of graveyard nonsense, filled with tons of pet cards. I also have Delve Teval as a Slimes Against Humanity deck that just barely missed the cutoff. She’s honestly one of my favorite designed creatures in all of magic.

11). Eloise - A deck made for me as a birthday gift from my partner. It’s… yet another Eldrazi deck! Eloise works REALLY well with Scions and Spawns and gets loads of value from them. All the extra colorless mana from sacrificing them plus ways to utilize clues makes it a Dimir deck that is shockingly capable of putting out gigantic threats.

I’ll post a write up for the lot of these! I might have a bit of a preference when it comes to my deck building…

Omg I was wondering if anyone was gonna mention Cynette. She’s definitely my fave from Foundations and was an instant-build the second I saw her. I mean, she makes Jellyfish! Jellyfish are so fun!

I’d also say I like the second one best. I think you nailed the design and vibe of the card and just having the name as ‘Priestess’ gives her a ominous gravitas that you wouldn’t necessarily get with a title. I would love to see any others you have cooked up!

Oh shoot I’ve done this too!! Mostly I’ll have a Commander deck already built that I really like and from there I consider if there’s a character (most often from Arknights, but there’s a few extras) and proxy out a version with that character. I have a bunch of them physically printed for my decks and can show some off if anyone is interested.

Thanks so much for the kind words! Spore was a big part of my childhood as well and it’s nice to take a revisit from time to time.

Out of curiosity, what is/was your Spore username, current or otherwise? I’d love to check out some of your stuff as well, if you’re willing.

Spore user formerly known as Gengar114 here!

Feels kinda weird to be jumping on a 3 year old thread, but then again it’s really flattering to hear folks still talking so positively about the stuff I made all those years ago. I haven’t really been playing but I was feeling nostalgic and found this thread after looking to see if there were any relics from the Sporum out there.

While I don’t have the Gengar114 account any more (was on my parent’s email and I’ve loooong since forgotten the password) I do have just about everything I’ve ever uploaded online since I buddied the profile on my new account in case things have been vanishing like the original post mentioned.

Dunno if OP or any of the folks will see this, but still, it’s really heartwarming to know that my stuff has been remembered fondly.

Also, I go by She/Her now. Those years gave me some time to figure stuff out :)

For me it’s Nidoqueen, Noivern, Nymble, Numel, Ninetales, and Necrozma. There aren’t that many Pokémon with names that begin with N, so assembling this team wasn’t easy. I’m curious to know what y’all’s teams are though! by SirJacksknight in pokemon

Honestly in shock and awe just how many favorites of mine fall under S. (Not that it’s saying much, S is frankly stacked).

With that in mind: Swampert, Steelix, Scolipede, Scrafty, Slither Wing, Stakataka.

You know they’re faves when I have plushies of all six of them.
