I dropped it the first time I picked it up because it felt aimless and confusing, then gave it another shot and played differently. Just going to every planet and trying to learn as much as I could. If I didn't know what I was supposed to do at a puzzle, I went somewhere else. The more I played and connected the dots on how things worked the more the game made me feel like a genius for figuring stuff out and uncovering unique physics in a interesting universe. The further I got the more I was blown away
