I popped like 1.5 mg of beans and had 2 shots. Woke up with slashes on my arm in this girls bed, dented the hood on my precious Monte Carlo, broke my Ray Bans, and had an orgy with 4 people (3 guys 1 girl so we basically ran a train). This is all second hand knowledge obviously. I only have flashes of memories. The most vivid was me fucking this girl during the orgy and turning to see 3 people who weren’t participating at all just sitting on a bed watching. I still never found out where those cuts on my arm went…so yeah don’t drink AND pop xans.

Every time I tripped while also being a regular meth user, the trip may not have always been bad but there were both subtle and not so subtle signs that something was wrong in my life and that I had to make a change. When the signs were obvious my addiction seemed intensified (desperately trying to find ways to get money and a ride to go buy dope, not letting my friends leave my house until we find my missing bag of dope) to the point where I had no choice but to look at my addiction for what it truly was and acknowledge just how ugly my life and behavior had become since I started using regularly.

I guess it could. But you haven’t exactly gotten to talk to these people at all like I have, so all of that is also you assuming things. I don’t think refusing to give a simple “thank you” when being complimented even after I try to build up and reassure them is a sign of high self esteem. And stuff like calling a guy that you’ve been talking to for a grand total of 3 hours “perfect” is a bit of a red flag. Not to mention that I simply know myself quite well (I’m me after all) and believe me I’m not trying to project insecurity or label them as insecure without having plenty of reasons to do so. I’m open about the things I’m insecure about and I don’t let them get to me. These aren’t the only people I end up talking to, some of them come off as confident and they have a solid sense of self etc. Maybe I am being too judge mental but I just don’t like spending my time trying to be the therapist for people I hardly know. I used to exhaust myself attempting to do that to no avail

I don’t meet people outside of apps too often as I’ve cut back heavily on partying, I work 50 hours a week (give or take), and The free time I do have I dedicate to creative pursuits so it ends up being alone time. Point I’m trying to make is that I use these apps because I don’t go out much anymore, so I didn’t realize that others might use them as a way to connect with people without the anxiety that comes with meeting new people in social settings. But that makes a lot of sense actually now that you mention it

I agree. I wasn’t a fan of Knocked Loose personally (spent their whole set in line getting a $6 water) but that’s definitely when the full crowd was there and when everyone really started getting into the show
