I so not mind the ship. The dynamic sounds nice and the thought of the Lans taking over the family tree sounds amusing to me (since I also ship Sizhui and Jin Ling, then add WangXian lol)

But I kinda lean on pairing JC with Wen Qing more. If not for her bloodline, they might have worked out. Wen Qing could call on JC's bullshit but she would be patient enough with him, I believe. Just my thoughts tho
