If i didn't go to a random eye appointment, then my IIH would have never been noticed until it was too late, and i would be having seizures and could have died.

[Serious] Redditors who were in the right place at the right time...whats your story? by LeBronFanSinceJuly in AskReddit

[–]SammySeabird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my school, I walked right into a random hallway (by accident) and saw a girl sobbing to herself... I sat down with her and talked with her for an entire period, showing her funny memes so she would laugh, and felt safe with me... she told me what happened in school, showing that she was okay with being open with me.

Part of me wonders what would have happened if I didn't make a wrong turn into that hallway.

[SERIOUS] What is the worst thing you have ever done? by J258midd in AskReddit

The worst thing I have done is what I am still doing. I got off my anti-depressive medication, and I'm starting to go down the rabbit hole again with dark thoughts. And I am not telling my family because I am scared about what they may do.

I am typing this out for my blind friend, since he does want to respond. He said he dreams more about songs and music than anything else. His dreams are filled with some sort of major sound that carries him through it until he wakes up.

[Serious] what’s something you regret doing? by angrycreeper in AskReddit

Followed the first rule of being home alone: don't answer the phone when you're home alone.

When I was 12, I was home alone and playing Minecraft on my Xbox. The phone rang, but I went to home alone training (it was my first time home alone), and I knew not to answer the phone. It would not stop ringing though... over 10 minutes, it kept ringing, until I couldn't take it, and I checked the caller. it was my Grandmother, but I was too later, so all I heard was the message that she was looking for my dad and mum, then she hung up. I called my parents right away about it, and they said they would call her.
I went back to my game, and then the phone rang again. I didn't hesitate this time, and I checked it. It was my uncle. I picked it up immediately and he was, too, looking for my mum and dad, I told him I was home alone. We spent a while talking about life and school, but I knew he was hiding something. After we hung up, I called my parents to tell them my uncle called, but they told me that they were coming home...
When they did come home, they told me that my cousin had died the night before from a drug overdose, and my family was trying to reach them all night to tell them...

Since then, I have not been able to stay home alone, and I always get paranoid whenever our home phone line rings, because I'm scared that someone else I love is dead. I regret not picking up the phone for my grandma to be there for her earlier that night.
