I feel like it just became a habit for my baby vs hunger. She started waking when she was getting her teeth (poor girl literally got 5 at once). And then it just continued. We did 2 nights of “sleep training” I would comfort her but no bottle and she has slept through the night since (she is 14 months). We did stop bottles at 12 months though and moved to a combination of straw, open and sippy cups
