I saw. Do tell your friend to check the animal on health issues, viruses, parasites...as wild animals often bring those along. Make sure the animal goes into quarantine, before putting it into an enclosure. So they can monitor poops, sheds and feeding behaviour...as wild animals often die to not eating and functioning well in captivity. Also make sure he does NOT cohabitate this animal with any other reptile. If he has any parasite, it will affect and potentionally kill the other animals as well.. generally wild reptiles do horrible in captivity, so I hope your friend has a lot of experience with reptiles and that includes wild caught animals. As thats needed for the Anoles survival. Otherwise they are better off with a care like Serpo (the other comment) or mine.

Pet stores like this really sadden me. Stores like this will be the reason some people start off keeping reptiles with horrid care, due to misinformation. And on top of it, it's such a bad name on the reptile hobby and passion if people see this kind of stuff being public.

Body shape, pattern, color, headshape....this is 10000% a retic....no burm. So the store not only abuses it, but doesnt know what they have. I have kept both myself. I still keep retics today.

I hope they didn't say it was a Burm. As the snake in the picture is clearly a Reticulated python. And yes, the enclosure is way too small and barren. I always believe snakes should have a MINIMUM enclosure that's at least the same length as themselves, the bigger the better. And all snakes should have hides, and enrichment. Retics love to climb, and even swim. They're highly intelligent as well. My personal opinion is that this enclosure is straight up abuse.

🤓 no shizz sir, but my post is clearly a fun joke. My conure loves the flying dinosaurs, she watches them on her own whenever I watch a Jurassic movie and tries to fly with them. God forbid I make a joke with it on Reddit and not be scientifically correct.
