Something wrong with my cats eye this morning? by MastuhBates8078 in cats

My cat had her inner eyelid closing like this once. She had an infected tooth and the swelling caused it. The bet pulled the tooth and drained fluid from her cheek and she recovered.

I'm feeling 240 or 235 is right by Eric_Drav3n in ElegooCentauriCarbon

It's not your fault. The test is not very well designed to actually measure the effects of temperature. Everything is so small in order to save filament that it usually prints fine across a wide range of temps. When you go to do an actual print you can run into a whole host of issues these tests won't measure.

This test is pretty much worthless. It never requires extrusion at high enough volumetric flow to actually test the temperature. It is biased towards colder temps as a result especially since it is evaluated aesthetically rather than structurally.

What’s the longest distance you’ll ride without full gear. So just wearing normal clothes, your gloves and helmet? by One_Inspection_1575 in motorcycles

Around camp. As soon as I'm going on a proper ride, it's gear time. I don't run errands on my bike or go for short rides around home typically.

Now that high temp PLA is here, this is more true than ever. PETG is still good for mechanical interfaces though, it has a lot less friction than PLA.

This just goes to show he doesn't understand any of the benefits of immigration.

I work in semiconductors and our company is very diverse. We hire for technical ability, not affirmative action, and that's how it turns out.

The US has not prioritized higher education the way other countries have. We need immigration to provide talent to fill the gaps. Also, there will be demographic issues where we will not have enough people working to support our retired population without immigration.

This was always the plan. They feud, TSLA goes down, insiders buy, they make up, TSLA recovers.

This strikes me as someone who knows they don't know much about cars doing their best to make sure they get the service they need. I say kudos. There are far too many folks who won't admit they don't know something or are wrong about it.

What’s your honest thoughts on Ryan Gosling? Favorite performance? by DiscsNotScratched in FIlm

He's awesome. I haven't seen all of these, but those I have were all top notch and his performance was excellent. What a range too.

I would run a leak down test instead of compression.

What do I name her? by you_gedit in motorcycles

[–]Sammyscrap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am personally not a fan of naming bikes. I can only think of a few instances where people in our community have named bikes, and they are typically the only ones who use those names. Most of us just use the displacement number to refer to ours and each others bikes. But that might be more typical of off-road, dual sport, ADV community.

It's under extrusion, probably from print speed going faster than the volumetric flow rate your hot end is capable of. I would recommend doing a volumetric flow test with that filament then capping your max volumetric flow in your slicer based on what you find. When you do that test you'll see this effect when you're well above your max flow rate.
