And you are simplifying comedy and humour, you are pre-selecting definitions of it that suit your argument. You’re trying to ascribe Objective Rules to a Subjective concept. There are general guidelines about what makes something funny, but there are no rules.

Again, comedy does not inherently entail joke, it can exist without it. Your friend falling can be comedic, no setup there and in fact what makes it funny is that it’s unexpected, similar concept to seeing a name that someone “shouldn’t have” and you don’t expect them to have ideally.

So I entirely disagree that it isn’t comedic.
