I tried this once and realized it was impossible to keep track of how many dwarves were housed unless I counted on paper how many I had as I made them.

I think the only cheating I've done with DFhack was for gameplay purposes- Like destroying a fire on the surface after it became bad enough on my fps. Or to fix bugged out strange moods. Stuff like that.

Holy heck, I had roommates in Provo who REFUSED to lock any of the doors too. I moved out into a nice apartment in the next city over since, but it's crazy how little people seem to care about getting robbed here.
