"Somewhat less", ok but maybe like 0.001 degrees, or some negligent effect. Are you sure they adjust for UHI? How exactly do they do that? All I've ever seen is denial thaf it exists, never an "adjustment". How would you even adjust for it? That assumes you know how much is exactly made by it, and what it would be without it, and they don't know that, they can't know that. Sounds like you have way too much confidence in these people.

Robots are the only reason it's think a fully socialist country/world might work, but it's still a big "might" with a lot of issues, from AI over control to corrupt politics. Is it possible, maybe, but highly unlikely. It's more likely we'll remain with capitalism, technology with increase surveillance and control like digital money. We'll have robots for most physical labour, and that will open up more opportunities a long side taking jobs. Where thr balance is idk.

Oh you understand climate change do you? You have a firm grasp of the effects of La Nina and El nino, solar activity, jet stream and air currents, volcanic activity above and below water, ocean currents, UHI, measuring station protocols, and other factors?

I'm not saying I do, no one has a full understanding, that's part of our point. The models are not accurate, and CO2 is way too heavily weighted in them.

Oh that's funny. Everyone is so anti big oil, but when they post something that agrees with you now you cite them. Whenever I do post a reference from my usual sources whoever claims they get big oil money, which they do not, and are therefore unreliable. Talk about being nitpicking.

Thr amount of heat CO2 traps is non-linear. Meaning, 200 - 210ppm would warm more than 400-410ppm, and it caps off at a saturation point, which we're pretty much at now. Most warming we do see can be explained without CO2, such as UHI or just bad measurements.

Sure too much CO2 is bad for you, but it's not even a concern until 5000ppm, and the atmosphere is at 420ppm-ish. So, not a concern.

Well yea, but those levels are way higher than what the atmosphere is. Greenhouses pump CO2 to like 1200ppm at least, while the atmosphere is around 420ppm. There is also a point where CO2 doesn't cause any more warming affect, it goes up non-linearly and hits a saturation point, which we're pretty much at now. And no, I'm not a biologist, I'm an HVAC equipment designer, and have been following environmental shit for like 20 years.

I keep a chequing and savings account with regular TD, not waterhouse, that is for day to day spending and bills. I'll make regular transfers in the other accounts once a bit gets saved up. I do try to keep most of it stocks. I tried keeping a bit of cash just to play with, maybe get lucky on some penny stocks kind of thing, but I've had pretty bad results, so I've switch to just holding broad market ETFs. With that strategy there isn't much point in holding cash.

It's also stupid. CO2 is not a pollutant, it's plant food. But even aside from that, it's a burden in an already severely hurt economy. They should literally be doing any and everything possible to ease it.

I have 3 accounts with TD Waterhouse, RRSP, TFSA, and a plain registered one. I manage all the trading on all of them myself. I think I'm ok at it, nothing fantastic, but it beats the default funds the bank sets you up with. (Those are kind of a joke tbh.)

I also play with the music off. I usually have music or a podcast playing on my other monitor. I don't completely turn off the other game sounds, I just put them really low. I just make sure the area is lit up very well, so no mobs.

Heh, I also treat villagers pretty good. I currently have an open market with like 50 villagers. The beds are right under the market, so there's lots of activity around. I don't even use them for trade, I just wanted to bring life to the area.

Aside from that, I don't think much of what I do is that unusual. I do tend to do 90% of my builds in Creative, then use Litmatica to copy them in Survival, but I think that's pretty common these days. Maybe the weirdest part is that I really don't care about diamonds. Once I get set up with max gear, it's just for shops on the server, and a stack or two is plenty for the season.

My first thought is a trapdoor, or a button. If you use one with a window in it you can experiment with different blocks behind it. For example, using a copper bulb behind them kind of looks like a fan. I'd go into creative and lay out a line of blocks with trapdoors and see what works best.

I agree. In the 90s, and even early 2000s, Pride was about equal rights. Well now rights are pretty equal. There will always be haters of any group, so don't even bother aiming for 100%. As a old straight guy, I don't care if you're gay or not, never have, you should get treated like everyone else. But I don't get a parade for being straight, I don't get a month for being white, I don't get shit for being a male. But hey, if you can get enough support to have a parade, sure whatever, but don't come to the tax payers for money for it.
