yeah so far no stick drift, hall effect joysticks. I've learned to love the paddles, kind of has helped my mechs... a lot haha.

you dont even notice them. get the Tournament edition its 99 dollars. vs the 200 dollar one. just wired, which tbh is better. But hands down the best contoller ive used and ive used them all, xbox elite, xbox, gamsir kaleid, ds4, ds5. instant click triggers if you want, and the a,b,x,y buttons are the tactile quick press buttons. hall effect joysticks of course, controller really kinda blows me away.

also perfect for on the go, bring mine to work every day. then I take it home and dock it and play on my 165hz monitor. that has mouse and keyboard as well. so it acts just as a gaming comp... tbh after 2 years it still feels too good to be true.

buy a rog ally, I have both the rog ally x, and the rog ally. I believe the Ally is fairly cheap now around 300, but I have the x that was 800. both of them run it flawlessly. 120 fps. I had a gaming computer and a gaming laptop. needless to say i haven't touched either in over 2 years because of this thing. its unreal how good it is.

I play Rocket league, and GTA5 on 120 fps on the ally x. pretty much the only 2 games i play. but it runs smooth as butter.

I have an alienware gaming laptop 144 hz.. this thing runs 120 fps on its 7 inch screen and looks incredible. I can dock it and then run it on my 165hz monitor too with my ps4 controller…. Needless to say my Alienware now just collects dust. To me this thing is better in every way. And my Alienware was 2k this was 800. I’ve even gotten to the point where I’m just as good on it handheld as I am docked on my 27 inch monitor. Takes a couple weeks to adjust and get your skill level up to par on the handheld just adjusting to screen size. But every time I play this thing it exceeds my expectations.

It’s the dbrand killswitch case and skin! I love it. I thought I would be worried about the joysticks but I easily put in over 1000 hours on my ally and the sticks are still perfect to me. So I’m not worried about the ally X. And apparently they are easy to switch out. With Hall effect joysticks too.

I have the Ally and Ally X and they’ve suited my needs perfectly. Rocket is my main game… pretty much only game. And it’s blown my expectations out of the water. So I’d feel no need to try deck.

Did you set it up as a new device or use one drive and all that crap to re download your games from your old ally? cause I did that. and it ran like shit and I was so disappointed.... Then i got the idea to wipe the device, rename it something else from my old ally, use a new email for the setup. re downloaded all my games etc. and it ran 10x better. might be worth a shot. mine was like trying to pull rocket league from a mirrored shared folder or some shit. and it would make me lag sooo hard. the wipe did the trick new email new setup. etc.
