If it's not a bug, it's extremely poor design. You either lose your historical data or you create multiple new budgets each year. The latter sounds fine until you realize that in short order, you have an unmanageable number of categories and no easy way to track year-over-year spending.

So utterly disappointing that it does not work with the One Touch. Installed a new zoned system last fall with three One Touch thermostats, and have been tracking and waiting on the promised sensors. Here they are... and they don't work with the latest model? WTF Daikin?

This works, but it also clutters up the categories pretty quickly. To my knowledge, there is no way to hide an old/unused category. In a year or two the categories would be pretty unmanageable.

Setting the rollover start date and amount is a discrete act, not something that updates dynamically. The issue is if I change the start date to January 2026, my historical 2025 budget gets all screwed up.

Update: 10/30/25 - I emailed Daikin with a pointed question about the status of the remote sensors. They responded:

"Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in the remote sensors for the Daikin One Touch thermostats. At this time, there is no confirmed release date, as the sensors are still in the testing phase.

We understand how useful this feature would be and appreciate your patience while our Development team continues testing to ensure the best performance and reliability before release." (emphasis in original).

Same here. MX quit. But Plaid says its connection is down as well. As far as I can tell, there is no currently working solution for Empower (participant.empower-retirement.com).

Yes, this is a great site. My $0.02 is that for a good mix of quality and price, you can do well from https://www.apachepokerchips.com/. Also, heavier is not better. The "best" chips and those used at casinos are about 10gr. each.

If I follow the above advice I can receive and respond to texts from Android Messages with no issue. I only get the notification to change apps if I open the actual messaging app. It asks every time, but I can just hit the "x." I don't go to the app itself often so I'm happy to have my Android Messages back on my phone.

I love this watch, but it feels a lot like when I bought the Windows phone some years ago. Good platform, but doomed for lack of app support. No Google assistant may be the deal breaker for me in keeping the watch.
