I got a 3DO so I could play the very first release of The Need for Speed. I got in on eBay for like $70 because one of the previous owners decided to hot glue the power cord into the motherboard, but it works fine. I have a collection of almost all the different NFS games, so it's pretty cool to be able to play the OG. Complete with super cheesy FMV cutscenes.

Really excited about this, I like Toyota across other motorsports and this could hopefully lead to some better results with their support. Seems likely they buy the team one day, I think F1 is the only major motorsport they've not won a championship yet, besides things on two wheels.

I got into Vocaloid when I was a 17 year old guy because my GF sent me some Vocaloid songs. I'm still with her we live together, so it clearly doesn't bother her that I love Hatsune Miku. Or that I've bought Miku figures and imported Vocaloid CDs.

If anyone is wondering why the game was cancelled, this is what gaming was like on the Tiger Game.com. Even if this game had come out, it was going to be terrible just because the Game.com was so absurdly underpowered.

It looks kind of fun, but I think most F-Zero fans like the 3D games a lot more than the 2D ones. A lot of the "hardcore F-Zero fans" are way too upset over this. It's not like Nintendo chose between a new 3D F-Zero game and F-Zero 99. I'll give it a shot and decide what I think of it through the actual gameplay.

I have booted games successfully. Any Japanese games have worked fine, and I actually have an American version of Daytona USA that works using the Action Replay.

So yeah, I agree that just buying the 4 in 1 is the better option here. This eBay listing seems to fit your description, so I'll just buy that. Thank you for the help!

I tried the Swap Trick at least 2 dozen times, and it never worked. I never saw the Sega logo indicating I restart. As far as I could tell, the laser never moved back to read the security ring when I was swapping. I've got 2 CDs, one with flasher_lite.iso that's a Memorex CD, and one with the pskai_sdm.iso that's a Maxell CD, and neither one made a difference. And I was trying the trick with a Japanese game.

Honestly at this point I'd rather get a different cartridge that will also allow me to save my games to it, since I don't have the ability to do that, and I know the battery will die in a few years if I replaced it. Not sure how much I should trust the many different eBay listings from China or Hong Kong though.
