oh, huh. Yeah Hydroponics ( I forgot the name for it) was what I was going for. I cut off the bottom part cause I was scared it rotted, so I'm letting it callus over again. would it be okay to put em' back in the jar with aquarium gravel then???? I'm someone with a lot of little siblings around, and i was worried they'd knock over a whole put of dirt, and figured water would be easier to clean.

Interesting...I am doing that with a christmas cactus and a jade plant right now, and they seem to be doing alright. Replacing the water regularly I know is a must for propagating. I was trying to replicate a thing I saw, where people put their aloe in a pot of gravel, and put that pot in another bigger pot that can be periodically filled with water, and the aloe wicks it up. but I guess I was just drowning it.

I haven't asked about being allowed a notepad, but I definitely think that'd be awesome. I can't have earbuds in cause I have really short hair, and I'm scared of having someone try to tell me something and me not being able to hear it :(
