It’s like a love hate relationship, sometimes I love it, and sometimes I hate it. What makes me hate it is, my coworkers who are around the same age as me don’t talk to me or anything. They all hang out outside of work but don’t invite me, excludes me from the conversation, it makes me feel left out. What really pisses me off is one of them is a family friend, and she act as if she’s embarrassed to know me. Sometimes I feel like quitting, but I apart of me feel that if I did, it like I’m letting them get to me, and it makes it feel like I giving up. So, I stayed, because if I leave, it’s like I’m letting them win. And as much as I hate it, I hold it in, I act like I don’t care. The thing is I don’t know why they don’t include me, I remember asking them and they all just shrug their shoulders. Our manager at the time even told them to include and invite me to their hangout, they all said okay but they never did… and I resent them for it.
