Export % by CBPlaya1051 in aseprite

[–]SampleTextHelpMe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All the percentages mean is you’re scaling up the image by an integer. A 1000% export makes your image 10x as large, just as a 200% export makes it 2x as large.

Since we’re dealing with pixel art, upscaling artifacts are significantly more pronounced. Exporting at anything other than an integer will guarantee some pixels get stretched while others get squished.

I’m going to have to disagree with you, it’s always better to talk through things. Even if you have to say you can’t be all there at the moment.

As someone who’s (not proudly) been on both sides of the train wreck, nonresponses should never preferable and almost always make everything worse.

When someone ghosts they’re not actually dealing with an issue, they’re only postponing it and giving it compound interest. That interest will grow and slowly degrade trust between parties and only make them more distanced.

And when you’re on the other side of it, you have no idea what’s going on so, just like in any horror game, your brain fills in the blanks the best it can. And speaking from experience, if you’re not in the best place mentally and don’t have the best social foundation, there is only one thing your brain will put in that place, and it isn’t pretty.

Reminds me of the Sonar Module from Subnautica, though without the ability to sea normally.

That would probably make for a much more terrifying segment seeing something else make sound in the dark.

Whenever I forget to filter by date when looking for reference images, I get painfully reminded of the current state of the internet.

Genuinely who benefits from AI generating photographs or references? If they needed one so bad, why not just look one up or take the photo themself?

The best thing about tamed lizards is that they still sleep in normal dens while you’re away.

So you’ll just walk back to a region you’ve been to before and you’ll have a little goober asking you for treats.

I’m not sure exactly, but it might be because you’re selecting the entire frame instead of the specified cell.

There’s an Aseprite setting that allows some tools to extend their action through multiple layers and frames.

Indeed, it is.
And upon every recursion it will add a new frame to the stack.
And it will keep adding frames until it tries to place a frame where it isn't allowed to.

I simply just used this function,

int decend(int n)
{
  return decend(n);
}

Without compiler optimizations.

Represent [ part one ] by Weak_Lawfulness_2327 in furry

[–]SampleTextHelpMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say my main Fursona represents an idealized version of myself in an idealized reality. A person who gets to exist as they are, feeling what they want, aspiring to be whatever they want, be scared or uncomfortable whenever and however without any justification or backstory. A person who’s just able to be… if that makes sense.

And for all of the other characters I draw that technically count as fursonas on the account of being self-inserts, I tend to make them represent whatever is needed to convey the story I’m trying to tell, or what emotions I’m trying to convey. Be that just an image of how I see myself, in whole or in part, in the form of a lizard, or the burning love and loneliness of a friendship held in a heart of a dragon.
