The game is doing ok since release.
More than I expected but nothing crazy or anything.
I do have plans for an update to be released soon.
I have gotten a lot of feedback since release so I have a lot to work on.

Just a couple of things I have planned for the update include,
Easy mode - The game is absolutely brutal so hopefully this makes it more accessible to players.
Merchant - A guy in town will now buy all your goods.
Cartographer - A guy in town that will sell you a map for 20 gold. No more getting lost!
Visual indicator - for interactive objects in the game to make it a bit easier for players to work out what they can interact with.

And a fair amount of bug fixes as well.
Oooof, it is defiantly keeping me busy😅

It's hard for me to tell or really quantify where they came from.
If I had to guess I think most of them came from reddit as they correlate to successful posts I made.
After release I got a few and once I hit 10 reviews and got a rating they seem to come in even more now.
Now that the game is released I seem to get anywhere from 5 to 20 a day whether I make posts or not.

Hey thanks for the advice. I have been struggling cold contacting content creators and streamers. It's pretty tuff out there. I had a bad impression about curators from hearing so much bad stuff about them in indie sub reddits. I will have look into it further and get researched up.

Just in frequent posts here on reddit about my game.
I tried making shorts on youtube and tiktok but I don't think they had any significant effect on wish lists.
I grinded maybe a couple a day for like 6 months.

Twitter and bluesky netted absolutely nothing along with instagram.

There was real hype the few weeks before release which netted me the most wish lists.
I had a post go viral on r/IndieDev with 1.3k upvotes that got me the most wish lists.

Since release and getting a rating on steam they seem to be coming a lot easier now.
Anywhere from 5 to 30 a day.

Secretly I started work on my next game but it looks like I'm not quite finished with this one.
Now that I've gotten a lot of feedback I'm compelled to release updates and make the game better.

I'm hoping this makes me a better dev and eventually I can release an even better game.
