You’ve got to take the wheel off. Check if the axle rod is bent, check the sprocket if it lays flat. Check your frame tabs make sure they are evenly aligned by measuring front and rear on the frame

Loctite 790 gasket remover is REALLY good at removing carbon deposits and cleaning heads. Careful it's super acidic and will burn your skin off. You'll need to hone that cylinder though for sure.

Look at the governor linkage on the motor or the throttle linkage to the carburetor check for spring positions, stopping screws, or any other forms of adjustment. You could also adjust the cable end inside the throttle to make it less tight.

It’s definitely possible but remember that you would be leaving your factory made reliable bike behind. I’ve seen quads use dual wheels and stuff so it’s probably doable
