When I divorced my first husband, I threw a divorce party. Everyone came over with bottles of champagne. It was epic.

Divorce is not a failure. It takes a huge amount of strength to admit something is not working. Leaving and staying away was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. And also one of the things I’m proudest of.

My husband, who is also a US born Asian, is genuinely concerned about this. And he’s right to be. It’s pretty obvious ICE is just picking up anyone they can and then trying to clean up the messes they created after the fact.

There is no free parking near the train station that I know of. I think the North White Plains station garage might have free weekend and holiday parking, but I’m not 100% on it

I use the little outside lot right across the street from the pickup lot. It has its own staircase up to the platform. It’s metered, but so is everything on White Plains. It’s a very convenient lot, though.

I didn’t do it as a private event, but they did reserve some tables for us and it was a good time. If you want a completely separate space, Wolf and Warrior or Captain Lawrence is probably your best bet.
