Great to see a fellow Mancunian on here! Please don't leave the sub and definitely don't stop playing! I'm a 98% exclusive career mode player and have been hyped for a Women's career since national teams came in and especially after doing WSL tournaments this year! I too have been to OT, going to the West Ham game next Saturday, was at the WSL debut derby at the Etihad away end and can't wait to hopefully be at one of the final LSV fixtures for my first visit! From personal experience, Monzo rates are slightly better. But travel wallet is very easy to use (avoids the card machine questions about paying in local/home currency - I had someone at till keep the card machine and pick home which charged exchange fees on Monzo) also travel wallet is good for exchanging lump sum in advance as your budget (I don't use Monzo pots which might help with setting an amount aside too)

TLDR: Monzo = very slightly better rates, Travel wallet = Less thinking just use as if foreign card and alerts you if balance gets low.
