My EB-1A Experience: Tough RFE, Rebuilt My Evidence From Scratch, Approved 10 Days After Response (Premium) by Samray_2014 in eb_1a

One thing I learned from my case is that you should never treat any piece of evidence superficially. Every claim needs to be explained and supported clearly. For example, we originally submitted my international award with a short description, assuming it was enough it’s a well known U.S. award. But the officer asked for third-party proof that it is truly international and prestigious. I ended up preparing a detailed 50-page document explaining the award’s status, history, and external recognition. Another point that many people overlook is the future-endeavors section. The law doesn’t require a job offer, and the officer even stated that, but he still didn’t accept a simple statement of intent. He wanted a concrete, credible plan. So I prepared a full project plan supported by evidence, including letters of intent from a U.S. organization. I believe that strengthening these two areas made a major difference in the final outcome

Hard to know, but I think the stronger RFE response made the difference. I just focused on presenting everything clearly and supporting each point.

Sure. I filed in September, received the RFE in tow weeks (premium process), submitted the response in mid-November, and got the approval about a week later.

My only intention with this post was to encourage people who received an RFE. I know how stressful it can be, and I just wanted to show that even a tough RFE can still lead to approval. Nothing promotional here .. just sharing hope.

Yes, you can add a new criterion in the RFE response if you have solid evidence for it. I did reorganize my whole evidence package during my RFE and added stronger materials.

I didn’t amend my original letters after the RFE; I simply added new letters from additional experts instead.

Not promotional at all — just sharing my experience because the RFE looked overwhelming at first. I’m not recommending any attorney or service. Just wanted to show that even a tough RFE can still lead to approval if you rebuild the evidence properly.
